"Kill" is such a friendly word

Sometimes I wish I was like [livejournal.com profile] damonite and had shotguns to stroke suggestively or explosive chemicals to mix. Or like [livejournal.com profile] megiloth and had co-workers whom I could devastate with the suggestion that anal sex should be used as a form of birth control. If I had these things, it might give me a healthy outlet for my anger, which despite my best efforts to curtail in recent months, I apparently still have a lot of. When complete strangers in whose presence you have not uttered a single word look at you and tell you you need to calm down, there's a problem. Granted, it could be argued that said complete strangers should mind their own business, but that's not the point. I had a legitimate reason to be angry (the company basically jacked me out of overtime I had rightfully earned,) but if I'm carrying it around to the point where I look like a menace, then I need a healthier way of dealing with it and that's all there is to it.

After the frustration of work this morning and going to get my oil changed, I decided to treat myself. I have a new favorite cd. It's Blind Guardian's "Nightfall in Middle Earth." I'd forgotten how good these guys are. Only Spinal Tap could say what these guys say better than they do and still say it with a straight face. I love German metal. In case the uninitiated are reading this, you must understand that the German metal scene largely exists in a state of mind where it is perpetually 1982 and no topic is more worthy of songwriting than that of RAISING YOUR SWORD ON HIGH AND SHOUTING OATHS TO THE PAGAN GODS IN PRAISE OF GLORIOUS BATTLE!!! And sometimes you just need that. Well, I know I do. And nobody does it like these guys do. I mean, come on, the title of the cd is "Nightfall in Middle Earth" for chrissake! If Manowar ever decide to hang up their boots of leathery fringe for good, it's comforting to know that these guys will be there to carry on the crusade against all purveyors of False Metal.

The other bad thing was being forced to stay and work over (and not for overtime pay,) and then having to stop and get my oil changed got me to bed late which basically meant I had to sleep all evening up until work time. Not only did this mean I had no time to write, practice the axe, or even waste time on Playstation 2, it also meant I had to decline an invitation to play L5R! I haven't played one stinkin' game since Diamond Edition came out and that's two opprotunities in a row I've missed out on for silly reasons. On second thought, perhaps my anger is justified. All perfect strangers who cannot mind their own business should beware...

YOUR WORD isn't worth more than puke in the dust....BETRAYER!!!!!

Ever since hearing that song back in '89, I've been a Kreator fan. Even immortalized the band in my skin!

Do they bring all their choirs and minstrels with them when they tour? I've been listening to it wondering how they'd pull off all those extra musicians and singers they'd need live without a zillion dollar budget. Speaking of budgets, I think I need to stop listening it before I go out and buy the HUGE Two Towers dvd package thatjust came out. FOR NOLDOOOOR!!! \m/ \m/

~Peers out cautiously behind all the metal lovers and whispers~ ...need to get your anger out? Don't have real fire arms and can't cut up watermelons with your blade? Go for the next best thing: Counter-Strike. The best unofficial anger management program ever. I always feel incredibly tranquil after shooting people in the head for a good hour. The best is hearing their cries of fury echo through the dorm...

I've actually never played Counterstrike but I've become quite good at Red Faction II. I should whip it out and vent some agression. Thanks! Metal lovers, do not harm this one. She has my protection.

It's very addictive, in a good way. Red Faction you say? I've heard of it but never played, sounds fun. That's what I do heh. Ah indeed...~Beams under given Protection...though carries Katana just in case~ ~.^

See guys? It's okay, she's cool. *metalheads all whip out their own swords, axes and knives and begin talking shop on weaponry.*
