Who needs cable when you have Mr. Universe?

Has anybody seen that new Direct TV commercial with Alan Tudyk? Man, I feel bad for the guy. It would be one thing if it were like "Hi! I'm TV's Alan Tudyk here to talk about a great offer from Direct TV!" No, he's cowering on the floor during a bank robbery while his buddy programs his Direct TV from his cell phone. Is there no justice? Nathan Fillion has a new detective show and Summer Glau is the freakin' Terminator while their former co-star is stuck hawking the equipment you'll watch them on. I can't put my finger on it. When Felicia Day sells washing machines (or Cheetos to put in washing machines,) it's cute. But when Alan Tudyk says how neat-o Direct TV is during a bank robbery, it's just sad.

Or not. I'm sure that commercial netted him a lot more money than I make in a given month.

Hey, Alan Tudyk was in a British comedy about a family funeral last year... does that help?

He also did a stint as Sir Lancelot in "Spammalot" on Broadway. That, like the sky, is something you can't take away from him.

Alan Tudyk was on CSI once. He played a Pedophile. It was awesome. I mean, he was awesome, not the fact that he was a pedo.

I saw that one. It was a long time ago though so I don't remember much.

He was in Death at a Funeral, and that was a great movie!

I must see this film... I've heard it mentioned before...did you like it?

Tom and I thought it was great. Alan Tudyk really steals the show in it though. But Peter Dinklage is also hilarious. I recommend it.

And, of course, Adam Baldwin is awesome as Casey on Chuck. :P

He's not doing so badly. Just within the last year or two, he's had 3:10 to Yuma and Knocked Up on his plate, and both of those did pretty well...:)

That Nathan Fillion show looks good to me. :P

Still, you wanna talk about no justice...Where the hell did Sean Maher and Morena Baccarin go? Their jobs got kinda slim after Firefly...:P

I don't watch Chuck so I wouldn't know. The last thing that caught my attention involving Adam Baldwin was some direct to video horror movie. Looked kinda fun though.

Isn't Sean Maher busy playing guitar and dating all those starlets? Oh wait, that's John Mayer.

I LOVE Chuck...such a good show...and Adam Baldwin is really good in it. :)

I, personally, missed Kaylee....then I found out she's in one of those Stargate shows on Sci-Fi....I still miss her, but not badly enough to watch one of those shows. :P

She made her first and last appearance in a two-part episode. She mutated into a giant bug and had to be destroyed.

That's not what IMDB says...Says she's been in 33 episodes as Dr. Jennifer Keller on Stargate: Atlantis from 2005-2009...:)

Interesting. I stopped following the series shortly after the bug episode so I had no idea they'd given her a regular role.

I love Alan Tudyk!!!!

Ironically though I don't have icons of him...but of Nathan Fillion. *shifty eyes*

the other guy...

I think the other guy in that commercial is from the USA show Psych.

PLUS I saw a direct TV commercial starring Ron Perlman as Hellboy in an office meeting. Freaking great. So maybe Direct TV is paying okay?

I forgot the Hellboy one was also a Direct TV ad. That one's pretty clever.
