Vince Guaraldis' revenge

This morning it looked like the weather forecasters had done to our city what men have been doing to women since the dawn of time: promising eight inches and not delivering. But I think we're going to make up for it today. We're getting our first big fluffy snowfall of the year. Much nicer than the sheets of ice we had earlier in the week.

The bad news is my friend's bellydance performance tonight has been cancelled... and right after I found it was tonight too. So I guess we're reverting to our original plan of staying in, watching movies, and ordering pizza. Not as fun as watching dance, but there are worse ways to spend a winter night.

promising eight inches and not delivering. *SPORFLE!!*

Mmm...staying in and getting all snuggly on the couch...I love that. Although, I can never stay comfortable in one position....so I'm forever wriggling around, trying not to get a kink in my neck.

It's the same with us. Couch-snuggling is never quite as ergonomic as Christmas-oriented TV commercials make it out to be.

We do okay.

hmm, my area has been promised more than 8 inches, but we shall see. Sometimes those numbers are a bit overinflated.

*falls over and dies* :P

Thinking of all of you as you face mother nature at her worst.

It's actually not that bad. It's fluffy snow and not ice. And it's supposed to be in the 30's tomorrow so I imagine most of it will melt.

It hasn't snowed here yet, but flooded like all get out in Oregon and Washington last couple of weeks. Thankfully where I live missed all of that.

Good to hear that you aren't caught up in that really nasty weather so many are having.
