We don't need another gigolo

Yesterday actor Rob Schneider took out a full-page add in one of the major Hollywood trade papers in which he proudly announced he would never work with Mel Gibson.

*People's Eyebrow* Ooookay... Yeah. Like that was in imminent danger of happening. Way to go, Rob. Thanks for nipping that one in the bud.

I am SO glad that I wasn't drinking when I read this, because it made me snicker that hard! Do you have a link to what paper it was or what the ad looked like?

This is especially funny after watching last night's South Park re-run where they kept playing ads for the next Schneider movie "The Stapler" and so on.

man I've waited years for the Schneider Gibson collaberation, what an amazing project that would have been. Rob would have played some guy who gets stuck being somthing he's not, and Mel would threaten to kill him the whole time, and wacky antics ensue. Schneider is the gutter rat of the entertainment industry, and I hope he dies in a fire..at a munitions plant.

Rob Schneider is no Joe Pesci.

Well, you know, he had to do that, just in case... 'Cause heaven forbid that anyone in Hollywood that none of us really give a shit about miss his chance to comment on an issue that doesn't really involve him.

Yes, congrats to Schneider for righteously defending the Jews and drawing free publicity to his no-talent ass. To think 15 years ago he would have dismissed it with "Mel! The Melanator! Making copies!"
