For those who think women in our culture have made progress since the 1950's...

...There are STILL commercials for vacuum cleaners and other such domestic products that show women doing house work in high heels.

You know those 50's wives had strap-on parties all day and then got dressed and did their hair and makeup in time for hubby to come home :)
