I never blog anymore. I'm turning into one of those people who just reads the friends list and never says anything. And then I complain about how that's what I do! It's a vicious circle. Anyway, I had the weekend off for once and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just kind of hung out on Saturday which was nice. Sunday I got to join the gaming group for the Buffy RPG. It was a LOT of fun and I must now find a way to make sure I can attend as often as possible no matter what. Today and yesterday I worked, but it was relatively light days both days. Now I have the next two days off. Sounds great right? Not exactly. Starting Friday I work TEN consecutive days in a row. That's right, ten.

I don't feel as angry about it as I could, although you might want to ask me again around the sixth day or so.

I've been doing a lot of reading as well as a lot of writing the last few days and I feel that's helped my positive attitude. HP:DH really got me into a reading frame of mind again. I try to read every day even if it's just a few pages, but sometimes I get inspired and make a lot of fast progress. I guess in that respect it's like anything else I do. Anyway, I'd write more but I'm getting a headache.

Aw, I hope your headache goes away! And yay for reading as well as writing, they're both so wonderful... Good luck with your schedule too, don't let them work you too hard.

you know, in a time when people are looking at four day workweeks and the like to help increase productivity, you'd think a company could look at the idea of a 10 day week and just laugh. Because, that's insanity.

yay for taking some time to read! I do find that it improves my frame of mind. :)

Void Circle Pharmacy is a company very much stuck in the 1950's in terms of its mindset. They've got that "up at the crack of dawn, in bed by midnight" work ethic. Lot of BS if you ask me.

Well, I barely find the time to write these days either...or nothing worth telling happens.
Hope this is going to change soon!

Yeah like <lj user="elvinborn" said, it's not fun to work so many days in a row but at my job lots of guys have been cut from six to four day weeks. Sucks when you're hourly. I'm thankful that my position and overtime have been protected thus far, but I guess I would sometimes rather have a few extra obnoxious days of work that I'm getting paid for than come up hundreds of dollars short for the month. :/ Such a great thing to choose between! Tyree, good to see you around even if you haven't been commenting. I was thinking that I hadn't seen a post from you in a while.

I'm posting a lot from the other account since there's been book news, but I've not done anything here in a while. The supervisor I call Umbridge where I work has been madly trying to cut everyone's overtime yet the more she tries to get rid of the more people seem to get. It's awesome.

Nice to see you post. Not that I'm one to talk. With so much out of town company--and being out of time myself--I've barely been on.

Working 10 days in a row....ouch. I'd be psycho women. Oh wait, I already am! ;)

Multiple personality disorder? :)

Nothing quite that exciting. Just general run of the mill crazy. Always watch out for the people who choose the mental health profession. ;)

However, many multiples go a good portion of their lives not realizing there's many inside.

Hmmmm. Perhaps you just know the sweet Christian one. If I ever start acting out of character and start joining baby sacrifice forums and dropping acid, give me a heads up. :)
