The right thing at the time isn't always the right thing, though. I've often thought I made a mistake by not staying with her. It was genuinely a happy, wonderful time even though it was somewhat brief. We met and began dating just about two months after Lesley and it was just too soon for me.

As for romanticizing things, sure it has its pitfalls, but generally I think it's a lot of fun. You should too! :)
