I haven't seen "Family Ties" in years so why is the theme going through my head?

I just drove seven blocks to the Quik Trip to buy a quart of milk for the stray kitty who hangs around our back porch and in that short distance I had to stop TWICE behind cars parked in the street talking to people pushing baby strollers by the side of the street. WTF!?

It's been a theatrical weekend. Went and saw Lesley and Dean last night in the worst production of Romeo and Juliet ever. As I told Lesley, it's a good thing I had her legs to look at or there would have been nothing to look forward to. I could go on forever about how bad it was, but you probably don't care. I'll just say what I told [livejournal.com profile] mellifera to give you an idea:

Fashion tip: Never wear a green and black cloak with khakis. Also, never wear a 18th century cavalry sabre with khakis.

In fact, just never do anything Shakespearean at all in khakis. Now tonight I get to go see an ex-girlfriend in production of the musical Mame. It's a theatre-in-the-park show so I could be more enthusiastic, but it's the least I can do seeing as how she faithfully comes to every show I'm in. But it is nice to know that if I must miss my high school reunion this weekend, (which I am currently doing,) that at least I am among friends and supporting their artistic endeavours. Toodle-loo!
